POST-PROCEDURE CARE
Anti-Wrinkle
Normal reactions immediately after treatment:
- Mild redness and swelling around injection sites, usually subsiding within 30 minutes
- Temporary asymmetry as the medication takes effect
Onset and results:
- Anti-wrinkle treatment starts to work within 2–5 days
- Full effect is reached at around 10-14 days post-treatment
- If temporary asymmetry occurs, please wait the full 14 days before any further treatment
- Even if happy with initial results, a review appointment is recommended to assess dosing and make adjustments if needed
For the first 4 hours, stay upright and avoid:
- Lying down
- Applying makeup
For 24 hours, avoid:
- Intense physical activity (to reduce swelling or bruising)
- Touching, rubbing, massaging, exfoliating, or applying pressure to treated areas
- Alcohol (to minimise bruising)
For 2 weeks, avoid:
- Sunbeds, spas, saunas and extreme temperatures
- Facial massage, facials, chemical peels, lasers or manipulation of treated areas
Additional tips:
- Sleep on your back to avoid pressure on the treated area
- Stay hydrated; drink plenty of water
- If any unusual swelling, pain, or signs of infection occur, contact your practitioner immediately

Other possible effects:
- Tenderness as bruising and inflammation develop
Resolution timeline:
- These symptoms usually improve within 2–7 days, depending on your individual response to the treatment
